Launching Easter 2022 book now!

Hello everyone,

My name is Toni and I am delighted to be bringing Bloom Baby Classes to Tyne and Wear. I know that we are going to have lots of fun!

I am a mam of two amazing boys. Charlie is 3 and has just started full time nursery and is doing so well, and Nicholas is 1 and is the happiest little boy and becoming more and more curious by the day.

I have worked in education for over 12 years in various settings and roles, including Early Years, SEN, mainstream and some other specialist provisions. I have a degree in Care and Education, Early Years and Childhood Studies and after graduating I moved to London and worked as a learning support assistant and teaching assistant. It was here where my love for children and education really took hold. I decided to complete my training as a primary school teacher so I moved back up north with my partner to qualify and I have been teaching for the past 7 years.

After having children my outlook on life changed, like so many of us, my priorities were different and it was important for me to be a more hands on mam. As much as I loved being a teacher, the work-life balance was becoming too much to manage with two young boys and the 'mam guilt' was overwhelming. I decided it was time to re-evaluate what I wanted for my family and for myself. I then found Bloom! Being a mother of two, I had been to many different baby and toddler classes over the years and knew how beneficial and enjoyable they were for myself and my boys and after speaking to our founder, Victoria, and hearing from friends about how impressed they were with Bloom baby classes, I knew it was the next step for me.

As a mam and teacher I know how beneficial baby classes are to a baby's development but I also know how beneficial they are for us mums, they were my safe space when I was a new parent, which is why Bloom is perfect for me. It is my passion and will give me the work-life balance I have been looking for! I am really excited to be a part of the journey with you and your little ones, and support you all in making that special bond with your baby! It is the most precious time and it's so true what people say... 'Time Flies' so make as many special memories as you can.

I can't wait to get started and meet you and your little ones!

Our baby classes will be running in Washington, Burnopfield and Dunston.

Our sessions are packed full of back to back activities to encourage baby's physical, emotional, cognitive and social development so your little one is constantly learning throughout the session. We explain the research and science behind each activity we do so that you understand exactly why we do it and what the benefits are for you and baby.

🐛 Caterpillar Club (6 weeks to 6 months)
A gentle baby development class with a focus on encouraging bonding with your little one. Our Caterpillar class awakens baby's first senses and stimulates in a fun, yet soothing way, using bubbles, parachutes, lights, songs, pompoms, tummy time and baby development moves, ending the class with a relaxing massage for baby to help them drift into a long nap.

🐝 Busy Bees (6 months to 15 months or until confidently walking)
A fun, lively musical baby development class encouraging fine and gross motor skills, body awareness, early language acquisition, rhythm and tempo. Building on from the gentle activities of Caterpillar Club this session uses instruments, dancing, clicking sticks, Makaton and more to bring on your baby's all round development. Please note classes are NOT suitable for proficient walkers.

With a different theme each session to explore, no week is the same! All set to our unique Bloom soundtrack 🎶
