Hi! My name is Jennifer and I'm so excited to bring Bloom Baby Classes to North Tyneside. I have a beautiful baby girl called Anna, who is 6 months old and growing so fast!
I have taught within primary educational settings since 2015, as well as teaching children abroad. However, since having Anna, my outlook on life and priorities have completely changed. I realised I wanted to have more quality time with my family and be there to see and support Anna in her development and growth. I decided to leave behind my beloved but demanding teaching career that had been second nature to me for so long and take the plunge to do something different.
Whilst looking for a better work-life balance, I heard about opportunities with Bloom. After attending some classes and experiencing the warm, friendly atmosphere, as well as seeing first hand how much both mothers and babies enjoyed the classes, I knew immediately that it was something I wanted to be a part of.
I'm really looking forward to bringing these unique classes to the North East, meeting lots of new families, and of course, having lots of fun in the process!

There is never a dull moment in a Bloom session! Our sessions are packed full of a range of back to back activities to encourage baby's physical, emotional, cognitive and social development so your little one is constantly learning throughout the session. We explain the research and science behind each activity we do so that you understand exactly why we do it and what the benefits are for you and baby.
🐛 Caterpillar Club (6 weeks to 6 months)
A gentle baby development class with a focus on encouraging bonding with your little one. Our Caterpillar Class awakens baby's first senses and stimulates in a fun, yet soothing way, using bubbles, parachutes, lights, puppets, songs, pompoms, tummy time and baby yoga development moves, ending the class with a relaxing massage for baby to help them drift into a long nap.
🐝Busy Bees (6 months to 13/14 months or until trying to toddle, if sooner)
A fun, lively musical baby development class encouraging fine and gross motor skills, body awareness, early language acquisition and rhythm and tempo. Building on from the gentle activities of Caterpillar Club, this session uses instruments, dancing, clicking sticks, Makaton and more to bring on your baby's all round development including body awareness, gross and fine motor skills and early language acquisition. Please note classes are not suitable for proficient walkers.
With a different theme each session to explore, no week is the same! All set to our unique Bloom musical soundtrack, designed to encourage early language and stimulate baby's musical and aural awareness ☺️ lots and lots of photo opportunities to cherish and make wonderful memories throughout your little one's first year.
