I started attending Bloom Baby Classes St Helens and Wigan with my daughter when she was 5 weeks old and we have never looked back. I was surprised at how anxious I was about absolutely everything as a new mum but quickly started to live for our weekly Caterpillar Club classes with our class leader, Rachel. We were welcomed with open arms and a huge smile every week. If my daughter wanted to sleep through or feed during a class in the early days it was never a problem.  I began to feel more and more relaxed about getting to class and participating in the songs and dances as the weeks went by and I quickly realised how special the time we were spending together, just the two of us, was for our bond. 

Prior to becoming a mother I was a Divorce Lawyer at a top 50 national Law Firm in Liverpool. My career had been my sole focus for over a decade following completing a degree in Law and a Postgraduate Degree in Legal Practice. As you can imagine my work life was extremely demanding and frequently ate into my evenings. During my maternity leave I began to think about taking a step back from the corporate world to find a better work life balance for myself and my family. I had had a difficult journey to motherhood and could not bear the thought of having so little quality time with my baby when I went back to work. 

When I discovered that I could buy into the Bloom franchise the decision was easy. I decided to take a leap of faith and completely change my career path and start my own business. I am now so thrilled at the prospect of being able to run my own classes throughout south Liverpool and offer other parents the truly wonderful and unique experience with their babies that I have enjoyed since coming into the world of Bloom!
