Hi, I’m Sarah and owner of Bloom Leigh and Atherton.
I am so excited to bring Bloom classes to Leigh and the surrounding areas.
I have two little boys, Jack who is 4 and Josh who is 11 months old. I have always enjoyed taking the boys to baby classes and we have both gained so much out of them. Not only for their development but it was also great to meet other mums with young babies who were often struggling with the same things that I was. It's definitely good to talk. The classes gave me the confidence to get back out and was an important bonding time between us. I enjoyed the classes so much that I have wanted to start my own classes since Jack was a baby.
My background is as a Solicitor specialising in Family Law. I have spent the last 17 years representing parents and children in the Family Courts. A lot of my time was dedicated to children who had a difficult start in life and ensure that their best interests and needs were met. After Jack was born I returned to work, however I knew that I wanted a change in career to spend more time with him and now Josh. So, when the opportunity arose to join Bloom baby, I jumped at the chance of my dream job.
I can’t wait to meet all the beautiful babies in the Leigh and Atherton area on their Bloom journey and look forward to welcoming you all.
Our sessions are packed full of back to back activities to encourage baby's physical, emotional, cognitive and social development so your little one is constantly learning throughout the session. We explain the research and science behind each activity we do so that you understand exactly why we do it and what the benefits are for you and baby.
🐛 Caterpillar Club (6 weeks to 6 months)
A gentle baby development class with a focus on encouraging bonding with your little one. Our Caterpillar class awakens baby's first senses and stimulates in a fun, yet soothing way, using bubbles, parachutes, lights, songs, pompoms, tummy time and baby development moves, ending the class with a relaxing massage for baby to help them drift into a long nap.
🐝 Busy Bees (6 months to 15 months or until confidently walking)
A fun, lively musical baby development class encouraging fine and gross motor skills, body awareness, early language acquisition, rhythm and tempo. Building on from the gentle activities of Caterpillar Club this session uses instruments, dancing, clicking sticks, Makaton and more to bring on your baby's all round development. Please note classes are NOT suitable for proficient walkers.
