I first discovered Bloom during my maternity leave with my baby girl indie. I started taking Indie to bloom when she was 6 weeks old, and I instantly loved it. I'd never been to a baby class before where I could see the developmental progress of my baby each week, it was amazing to see how much Indie was learning from her weekly classes at Bloom.
During this time, my amazing 3 year old son was diagnosed with autism, which meant that I would have to leave my previous job in the NHS. I really wanted to find my dream job, something that didn't feel like work because i was having so much fun, but something that would also fit in with my home life. And then like magic, I saw an advert to become a bloom teacher and I jumped at the chance!
I began teaching for bloom Oldham and Rochdale, but soon became ambitious and decided to purchase my own franchise!
I can't wait to bring bloom to Holmfirth, Meltham, Slaithwaite and Huddersfield Town centre!
Our sessions are packed full of back to back activities to encourage baby's physical, emotional, cognitive and social development so your little one is constantly learning throughout the session. We explain the research and science behind each activity we do so that you understand exactly why we do it and what the benefits are for you and baby.
🐛 Caterpillar Club (6 weeks to 6 months)
A gentle baby development class with a focus on encouraging bonding with your little one. Our Caterpillar class awakens baby's first senses and stimulates in a fun, yet soothing way, using bubbles, parachutes, lights, songs, pompoms, tummy time and baby development moves, ending the class with a relaxing massage for baby to help them drift into a long nap.
🐝 Busy Bees (6 months to 15 months or until confidently walking)
A fun, lively musical baby development class encouraging fine and gross motor skills, body awareness, early language acquisition, rhythm and tempo. Building on from the gentle activities of Caterpillar Club this session uses instruments, dancing, clicking sticks, Makaton and more to bring on your baby's all round development. Please note classes are NOT suitable for proficient walkers.
